Hi, I’m Dan! I founded Hopewell Limited in 2018 when I sensed a need for an honest, affordable, and hardworking company that would empower nonprofit and church leaders to thrive in what they do best. I got that sense because I’m also the Community and Operations Pastor at New Denver Church and have witnessed too many leaders trying do it all – even the stuff they don’t like or aren’t good at.
I’m a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado (B.A. Criminal Justice, 2004) and Denver Seminary (M.A. Pastoral Ministries, 2011). I’m also working towards several postgraduate certificates at Colorado Christian University. I was a police officer in the Denver-metro area for five years where I was awarded with a medal of commendation and selected as police officer of the year before transitioning to a career working with nonprofits and churches.
In 2009, I co-led 41 young adults on a mission trip around the world through The World Race. Once back in America, in 2010, I was hired at New Denver Church where I’ve worked ever since. Meanwhile, I also served as a supervisor at the Denver Art Museum, a governmental nonprofit entity, from 2011-2018. I founded Citywide Worship Denver in 2012, which I led until 2016, before transitioning to an advisory role on the Board of Directors. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Torn Curtain Arts and previously served on the Advisory Council for the Joshua Station from 2014-2018. I’ve been an active member of The National Association of Church Business Administration since 2014.
Last, but certainly not least, I’m a proud Denver native and love sports – go Rockies, Broncos, Nuggets, Avs, Buffs, and Baylor Bears! I also enjoy woodworking, reading, gardening, and hiking (as of this writing I’ve summited twelve Colorado 14er’s and six high points). I’m married to my amazing wife, Britt, and am the father of two wonderful children, Sutton and Sloan.
